The Yarn
I’m using medium weight yarn in five basic colors, white, black, blue, red and brown. I picked Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice and a large hook and it was a real pleasure to make this scarf. Because it looks fantastic and it worked up fast!
I also tried this stitch with the puff stitch instead of the bobble stitch and in light DK yarn and it looked just as nice, which means it’s great for blankets.
Design & Stitches
I call it the cool Santa reindeer stitch because each little reindeer has a granny Santa beard, a red bobble stitch Rudolph nose, a brown granny head, a black pair of sunglasses and a Santa hat with a bobble pom pom.

Pattern Notes
- Project difficulty: Easy!
- You can use the puff stitch instead of the bobble stitch.
- You can use different yarn weight.
- I use the magic knot to change the color without tails.
- If you want to know how many reindeer heads you’ll have, take away 1 from the multiple of 3 number. For example, if my multiple of 3 is 5, I’ll have 4 reindeer heads in my swatch (like in the video).
